The history of time keeping first evolve in the 13th Century and their where large public watches. This type of timekeeping where instruments of the Church and State until the 16th century when the watches evolve for personal purpose and the form of them was like a drum objects usually created from precious metals and there where worn around the neck or in the pockets.

With the help and study of the 16th century, Andreas Zadora Gerlof has manage to create a unique timepiece that can be a real masterpiece with an air of new and elegant design but in the same time trying to maintain the static old air of back then. A watch from Zadora combines the aspect of a drum but the innovating part is that the actual reading of the watch is realize throw the side of the case so you must not confuse the every being dilemma that the time is indicated throw the jewelry that is on front side of the watch. The actual read of the time is possible because the jewelry or the model that is on the front side it can actual rotate and so the hand doesn’t move when you will want to take a closer look of your watch. And the absolute genius lies where the models of the jewelry is, and now we take a closer look at what it means to create the Queen Bee from Zadora Gerlof.
The entire process of creating this masterpiece begins with a pattern in one of the many foundries that can be found in Switzerland. With this pattern the actual body of the model takes form but after that it goes throw a totally hand shape change and this change needs 100 hour of work for each body of a model. The entire body of the watch is made from solid gold from 18 karats. After that the meticulous work of designing and shaping the body of the bee, another complete process begins the shaping and the finishing of the legs. From this it is only one segment remaining to be complete and that is the decorative with precious stone part. The hardest part of the watch that needs more then 2500 hours of hand work is the wings. The wings are created from sapphire crystal that is very thin just like a normal glass of a watch, but the tricky part is that on this glass are mounted white diamonds with connections between them like the veins of a leaf. To actual create such a tremendous piece of art there are necessary engineers with nerves of steel and with the most steady arms but also the process is difficult because it is made entirely under the lens of a microscope. After that the assembly of the watch begins with shaping the body for the extra parts of the watch. The most expensive thing that can be found on this watch is the head of the bee that is realize from eight different precious stones. Each and every one of them have a case built from gold just like antennas of a bee and it is spectacular to see the finishing of the stones or the shines that is given to them by the perfect shapes that can also be admire from the hand of the prod owner.
The entire mechanical parts of the watch are also created in Switzerland but the complex part is that the parts may be brand new but the design is like the one use in the 16th century and also it has the letters wiped from them just to make the looks of the watch older.
The price of Queen Bee begins from 56000 euros but that depends on the model that is on top of the watch.
