Ever since it was founded in the 1860s, by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, Chopard is a Geneva-based renowned brand which creates sophisticated and refined accessories, jewelry and also luxurious watches. The brand is well known for the intricacy and elegance of the it’s designed timepieces, and Chopard Happy Sport Chrono II for Ladies, is an innovative model designed in a tone which makes a rather discordant note with the iconic women’ watches image that is embedded with feminine stile touches, made of rose or white gold and embellished with sparkling precious stones.         During the last year, this Swiss watchmaker enlarged its Happy Sport Mark II, collection, with two sportier variations for women – the All Black models, which combine femininity with force and their monochromatic and minimalist design endows an irresistible attraction for many Chopard customers.

        The Happy Sport Chrono II is available in two design variations; the first one is the sportiest, it merges a PVD stainless steel, rotating time-laps bezel, and the other model approaches a rather dressier stile featuring a bezel surrounded with 2.20 karat round diamonds.

        The watch’s buckle and case are manufactured from stainless steel that, due to being carbon treated is also scratch resistant. Chopard traditional onyx and sapphire crown has also been replaced with a black shaded crown. On the dark dial the time is marked with blackened Roman numerals, the watch also features 5 round shaped mobile diamonds.

        The timepiece is animated by a quartz automatic movement which has minute counter positioned at 9 o’clock, hour counter located at 3 o’clock and seconds counter respectively at 6 o’clock position. The models’ dimensions, 42mm in diameter, fit perfectly a lady’s wrist but, at the same time give a strengthening attitude and elegance. To complete the classy Spartan aspect of the two models Chopard designers have added black crocodile leather strap.

        Chopard Happy Sport Chrono II is, more or less, a controversial timepiece especially created for the modern women who have the same position as the men in today’s society; it emanates sobriety, strength and individuality and is not a watch for girls, that is why, even its price, $ 8160.00 seems to be for powerful women.
