Approaching an unconventional design, the watch features a case measuring 35.4 x 44.4 mm and which was made of titanium. The case features details of construction that base their color on polished and brushed surfaces, offering modern lines to the whole design. The design concept of the new Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon Watch has been car-inspired and that’s why the dimensions of the case are impressive, hinting to masculinity, sport-engaging activities and action.

The dial features a tourbillon cage, a function meant to indicate the power reserve and traditional functions of hour, minute and second. The tourbillon cage has a skeletonized bridge detail and the hours and minutes are displayed traditionally, with the help of the center-positioned hands. The only Arabic numerals provided on the dial mark the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock position, while the rest of the hour markers are simple black lines. The logo of the brand is inscribed vertically on the left side of the dial.
The technical movement conceived by those from Chopard is entitled to its fame as the new mechanism designed by Chopard was car inspired and it’s based on a hand-wound movement, able to generate 60 hours of power reserve. Apart from this function, the mechanism was also adjusted to cope under extreme situation and has been equipped with a shock absorption system that enables the protection of the technical features of the watch.
