House of Chopard proudly releases the new L.U.C XPS limited edition watch in order to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the “Poincon de Geneve” quality hallmark.
The new L.U.C XPS watch comes in an 18K rose gold case measuring 39.50mm in diameter and being 7.13mm thick. The case incorporates a 18K rose gold winding crown engraved with the L.U.C logo. Both the top of the case and the case-back are made of glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant.
The “Poincon de Geneve” logo wonderfully adorns the brown sunburst satin-brushed dial of the new Chopard timepiece. The gold-toned hour-markers of the L.U.C XPS watch are harmoniously completed with central gold-toned Dauphine-type hour and minute hands. The counter at 6 o`clock features a gold-toned baton-type small seconds hand, while the aperture at 3 o`clock indicates the date.
The heart of the new Chopard L.U.C XPS watch is the mechanical self-winding L.U.C 96.01-L (L.U.C 1.96) movement. With 27.40mm in diameter and 3.30mm thickness, this caliber is certified as a chronometer by the COSC. The movement includes 29 jewels and beats with 28,800 vibrations per hour, providing a 65-hour power reserve. Its bridges are embellished with Cotes de Geneve pattern.
The new Chopard L.U.C XPS watch is couples with a hand-sewn matte brown alligator leather strap secured with an 18K rose gold pin buckle. The Chopard watch is available in a limited edition of only 125 pieces.
