This was Franc Vila’s first collection dedicated to the ladies, and even though it’s said that perfection requires long lasting expertise and tradition, the new Ivy Edition Collection has proven to be highly esteemed by the watch connoisseurs. This new direction taken by Franc Vila has proven of a huge success, as the new timepieces were produced in 88 pieces that were rapidly sold on the market.

        The new model, Franc Vila Ivy Edition Watch, has a case manufactured from DieHard Extreme Steel case and is adorned with precious stones. There are two versions available, one on blue and another one, with fewer decorations, on white. Both versions display a highly sophisticated appearance and manage to draw attention at very first sight. The blue version is adorned with 387 diamonds, making of this watch not only a reliable timekeeping instrument, but also a fine piece of jewelry. The white version of the Ivy Edition Watch uses only 91 diamonds, as the designers have chosen to use a simpler and more discreet appearance.

        Both versions use the same self-winding technical movement defined as the FV28 Caliber, a powerful mechanism which provides 42 hours power reserve and a 100 meters water resistance. Very reliable, the watch provides the traditional functions of minutes, hours and seconds, as it’s mechanism is based on the, notorious by now, the Gold Concept Rotor, developed exclusively by Franc Vila and which can be seen through the transparent case back made of scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

        The new Franc Vila Ivy Edition Watch presents two versions of the dial, one featuring a printed floral pattern on a blue mother-of-pearl color, with 8 markers set in diamonds. The other uses the same dial indications, the only difference being the bezel of the watch. The date function can be located at the 12 o’clock position, while the small seconds counter, in the exact opposite direction, at the 6 o’clock position.

        The new Ivy Edition watches by Franc Vila are available on alligator straps, with a color choice of blue or white, depending on their dial. This sophisticated collection was produced in a limited number and it’s become reason of pride for the designer from Franc Vila.
