Hamilton created for the basic amateurs jump which will come to supplement the collection already plethoric Khaki. This stop watch is presented in a case of 50mm of diameter, declined out of pink gold and titanium.

      Khaki Bases Jump Auto Stopwatch, animated by the impossible to circumvent gauge Valjoux 7750, offers an exceptional function which makes it possible to activate the stop watch using the revolving glasses. The surmounted crown of a protection measure is placed on the left side of the case. To also note the completion wire nails of the edges external of the glasses. Hamilton literally turned to the sky to create the design of the new watches Khaki Base Jump. These robust chronometers do not certainly provide a parachute of help (nor gilded besides…), but their design (50 mm and of the rough colors) and their functionality are strongly inspired by the followers of the Jump Base, made thirsty for adrenalin. Two models of Hamilton Khaki Base Jump are available: an automatic version animated by a movement ETA 2824 and one single automatic stop watch equipped with a movement ETA 7750.

      Before further going, let us recall already that the Hamilton Khaki Base Jump is an extreme sport which consists in jumping of the top of a building, an antenna, a bridge or a cliff and to open its parachute at the last time. In short, a sport which does not have anything of one trots health.

      BASE is the acronym of the four categories of objects recognized for the jumps: Building (real), Antenna (antenna), Span (bridge) and Earth (cliff).
This term was invented by the scenario writer Carl Boenish. Large pioneer of the modern BASE jump, this one filmed into 1978 the first jumps BASES since El Capitan in the National park of Yosemite.

      This being known as, let us discover these two new models from Hamilton (Swatch Group). The other innovation of the mark of Lancaster, Hamilton Khaki Base Jump Automatic is for its part equipped with revolving glasses which actuate an original bidirectional countdown.

      The two watches raise a bill of character similar to that of classified files the “secret signal”. The robust character is reinforced by a protected crown, positioned on the left side of the watch for an easy use in the extreme situations, like by a completion “ wire nails” on the edge external of the glasses.

      A neat design is added to the quality of the Swiss movements (one does not present any more the famous 7750). The shape of the case of 50 mm points out that of a parachute and deliberately contrasts with the reason “wire nails”.

      The Hamilton Khaki Base Jump Stopwatch is proposed with a titanium case with black completion or a black stainless steel case or bronzes matched with the dial. All the versions are proposed on bracelet rubber echoing the dial and underlining the sporting character (tight with 100 meters), extreme of the design. The automatic model offers identical colors and a stainless steel case.

      As always at Hamilton Khaki Base Jump, the quality ratio/price is excellent (895 euros for the simplest model and starting from 1.495 euros for the Hamilton Khaki Base Jump Stopwatch). Attention, launching is not expected that for the re-entry 2009.
