Harry Winston, one of the of the biggest and famous jewelry brands in the world creates timepieces since 1989 in collaboration with independent watchmakers, and their models have became renowned for their beauty and technical achievement.

Unveiled at the Baselworld 2006, the Harry Winston Opus 6 watch is a masterpiece which stands on top on the list of many watch collectors. But let’s describe this unique creation in detail: the marvel is a 44mm watch crafted in 18k white gold material, featuring an unusual but special design. The case is adapted to house the tourbillon and gives the watch a bulky aspect, yet with a classic style. Moreover, the Opus 6 doesn’t really have a dial, but this front side is very unique with its different heights, shapes and layers of the elements. The main part of the dial is captured by the Double-Tourbillon placed on a blue area whose role is to animate the dial.

Talking about the movement, the manually-wound double-tourbillon has two cages which accommodate a special system; 30 degrees inclined one-minute tourbillon cage inside a 4 minutes tourbillon cage. The accurate mechanism is composed of 128 parts and oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating thus an incredible 72-hour power reserve.

The time display of the wonderful Opus 6 watch is spread on two places nestled near the bezel: the hours and minutes are located on the right disc, while the seconds are on the top cylinder at 11 o’clock. Meanwhile, the time can be read quickly with the help of the red hands. The dial features also an original symbol – a large six is engraved on the right side of the front – representing the sixth interpretation that belongs to the Opus collection. Besides, the names of Harry Winston and watchmakers Greubel and Forsey are engraved on the bezel and seal the successful collaboration between them.

The unique Harry Winston Opus 6 timepiece is couplet with an elegant and stylish leather strap finalized with an 18k white gold Harry Winston – Greubel Forsey buckle. This special edition model was made in only 6 pieces worldwide, therefore the potential owner will be one in six to enjoy exclusivity of its watch. The price for Opus 6 is estimated to be between 300,000 and 500,000 US dollars.
