This watch has been created for the taste of the modern adventurous man, who is always interested in action, gadgets and technical functionality. The modern design of the watch seem really appealing, being concentrated on a contrast between black and silvery stainless steel, managing to provide a look that’s both sporty and elegant at the same time.

        The new IWC Ingenieur Big Chronograph Watch was released during the SIHH 2009 event, in Geneva and was regarded as one of the breakthrough timepieces of the year. Regarding the design of the watch, we can say that it uses neat elements brought together by the most modern appearance. The roundly-shaped case is made of stainless steel and it features a bezel made from polished stainless steel. The bezel has a scale for the tachymeter function and the lateral side of the case is equipped with a crown and two pushers which help set the functions of the chronograph.

        The black dial of the IWC Ingenieur Big Chronograph Watch has Arabic numerals indicating the minutes, two sub-dials for the a 60 minutes counter and one for the 12 hour counter, positioned symmetrically at 12 and 6 o’clock positions, and also a date window which has made room discreetly in the lower part of the sub-dial from 6 o’clock. The hands of the dial are made of stainless steel and are also, luminescent treated to provide the best visibility at night.

        This watch comes on a black leather strap fitted with a polished stainless steel clasp and is available in two versions, featuring different materials; one version is crafted from platinum, while the other uses pink gold.
