The new timepiece introduced on the market by Jaeger-LeCoultre it’s not just an ordinary watch meant to provide its owner with the traditional functions of telling the time, but it represents a timepiece that stands alone as proof of years of technological excellence and design innovation. The watch making industry is proud to present such unique and complicated watch that goes by the name of Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon a Quantieme Perpetuel watch, a watch completing the highly acclaimed collection introduced in 2009, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition line.

The amazing idea behind the concept of this watch was that it should contain two technical complications, one meant to assure the function of a tourbillon, while the other providing a perpetual calendar. These integrated complications were not easy to manufacture and assemble, but the result is surely appreciated, not only by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most loyal customers, but by watch connoisseurs all over the world as well.

The case of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon a Quantieme Perpetuel Watch measures only 42 mm in diameter and is produced in two versions, one featuring platinum and one featuring pink gold. Regardless the chosen material, the case approaches a classy, almost vintage look, with a slim case made of the finest materials.

The white dial of the watch was chosen to illustrate sophistication through simplicity, and classiness through good taste. The dial is separated in two parts, one covering the perpetual calendar area, while the lower part of the dial is focusing on the tourbillion function. The perpetual calendar is expressed through three sub-dials; one for the days of the month, one for the days of the week, and one for the months of the year. In the middle of the sub-dial that provides information about the months of the year, you can see a date window that tells the date by using Arabic numerals. The lower part of the dial makes room for the tourbillon cage, which was manufactured from titanium and features many sophisticated technical details assembled together into this unique piece of Haute Horlogerie.

The much acclaimed Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon a Quantieme Perpetuel Watch works on a mechanical automatic movement called Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 987, a technical mechanism created with the help of state-of-the-art technologies, but assembled by hand. This movement provides a power reserve of 48 hours and 50 meters of water resistance.

The strap is made of black alligator skin and it usually features a clasp to match the material used for the case, platinum, pink gold and a limited edition of 200 pieces made of yellow gold.
