A new timepiece from the Star collection has been unveiled by the famous watchmaker Montblanc. The masterpiece is called Star 4810 Chronograph Automatic.

       The watch features a 44mm case crafted from stainless steel and a rather slim bezel. The large dial in adorned with a guilloche pattern due to which the light is reflected in different ways as the lines created either seem to run parallel or to intersect each other, depending on the angle from which you look at the dial. It also includes polished Roman numerals as hour markers, which, together with the brilliant polished finished case create a stylish contrast with black color of the dial.

       Apart from the central hour and minute hand which are sword-shaped, this Montblanc Star 4810 Chronograph Automatic watch also includes a 30-minute counter positioned at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter found at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. The chronograph hand which rotates above all this has a red point and bears the Montblanc emblem. There is a start/stop chronograph button placed at the 2’oclock position and a reset button at 4 o’clock. The date is displayed in a small window positioned at 6 o’clock, that is to say, the lower part of the 12-hour counter. The winding crown used either for the movement or to change the date is crafted from stainless steel. The dial of this time piece is protected by an anti-reflective convex sapphire glass. The black strap is made of alligator leather and it includes a triple-folding clasp.

       The Montblanc Star 4810 Chronograph Automatic watch has a self-winding mechanical movement, protected by a case made of stainless steel and fitted with sapphire glass on its back which unveils technical details such as perlage-finished bridges. The precision of the movement of this Montblanc watch was acknowledged by the COSC (Swiss official chronometer testing centre). The watch comes with a 46–hour power reserve provided by the Montblanc 4810/501 caliber and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

       Montblanc has created different variations for this Star 4810 Chronograph Automatic watch. The time piece is also available in stainless steel with a silver-colored dial and brown alligator leather strap, or with steel link bracelet. Other models include 18k rose gold, anthracite-colored dial and black alligator leather strap or even rose gold, silver-colored dial and brown alligator leather strap.
