The symbol of this brand is the red rotor, contained by each and every mechanism released on the market by Oris, a technical element patented by Oris and manufactured exclusively in the Holstein factory from Switzerland, the place where all the Oris timepieces came from.

        Oris involvement with sports and racing, especially its support for the Formula One events and championships, is commonly known. The new timepiece presented by Oris goes by the name of Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch, being an improved and refined version from its legendary pilot’s watch. Although its name would suggest masculine proportions and row features of design, the new Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch embraces a more elegant design featuring a case measuring only 42 mm in diameter.

        Inspired by pilots and for pilots, the “Sportsman” line introduced back in 2000 was dedicated to the pilot Don Vito Wyprachtiger and was manufactured with the occasion of an aerial event in the world of stunts in the air. The new version is far better, being crafted from stainless steel and using a construction that is extremely resistant. The case construction is also the one responsible for the generous water resistance of 100 m assured by the new Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch.

        Extremely practical, the new Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch features a black dial that presents its functions on white detailing. The dial features Arabic numerals as hour markers, Superluminova hands for the indication of the hours, minutes and seconds and a day and date function, at 6 o’clock. The dial also presents the logo of the Oris brand under 12 o’clock position, while in the lower part of the dial, we can see the words “swiss made” inscribed.

        The mechanism equipping the new Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch is based on an automatic mechanical movement that assures the accuracy of all the functions presented on the dial. Both the case back and the case top are crafted from extra-resistant sapphire crystal, allowing the curious owner of such watch to inspect and admire the beautiful movement.

        The designers from Oris chose to use three strap versions for this model, and so, the new Oris BC3 Sportsman Watch can be available on an elegant leather strap, a stainless steel bracelet or simply on a rubber strap.
