Oris is proud to announce the release of the new Maldives Limited Edition watch. A part of the profit raised from its sale will be donated to Bleupeace, an environmental NGO which fights to protect the endangered marine life in the Maldives.
Presented in a multi-piece titanium case, the new Oris Maldives Limited Edition watch sports a unidirectional revolving top ring and a 60-minute scale engraved in a ceramic inlay. The top of the Oris watch is protected by a domed glare-proofed sapphire crystal, while the case back is embellished with a special Manta Ray logo.
The case features a stainless steel screw-in crown at 3 o`clock, while at 10 o`clock it incorporates an automatic helium valve. In order not to affect the sapphire crystal, this special device enables helium to escape the watch`s body during the decompression process. The model provides water-resistance down to 300 meters.
The blue dial of the Oris timepiece comprises applied indices, treated with dark orange Superluminova compound. Along with the central hours and minutes, there are a small seconds counter at 9 o`clock and a date aperture at 3 o`clock.
The new Oris Maldives Limited Edition watch is secured either with a multi-piece titanium metal bracelet with folding clasp, or with an easy adjustable black rubber strap. The model is limited to 2000 pieces.
