        The new Oris Oscar Peterson Limited Edition Watch bases its appeal on a 42 mm in diameter case crafted from stainless steel, a case that through its construction hints to elegance and subtlety. The elegant case matches perfectly the black dial of the watch that maintains the same attitude towards simplicity and exquisite taste. Given the fact that Oscar Peterson loved to play the piano, and so, the black dial of the watch approaches this design theme that involves using hour markers imitating piano keys instead of traditional ones, adding a touch of originality to the whole design. The dial presents Roman numerals for the hours, the traditional functions of hours, minutes and seconds indicated through luminescent stainless-steel hands and also, a date window located at 6 o’clock.

        Although the piano keys celebrate both music in general and Oscar Peterson’s passion for the piano, the dial displays also another symbolic element; the 8 o’clock position being marked by a red Roman numeral, hinting to the fact that the famous musician won 8 Grammy Awards.
