Perrelet Split-Second

Posted under Perrelet

Again a Swiss manufacturer takes full attention from all over the world and this time is about Perrelet with the amazing model named Perrelet split-second chronograph. The watch was developed to bring tribute to Louis Frederic Perrelet. Those of you that are familiar with Perrelet Company and with the watches that they construct all over these years you must know the passion that Louis Frederic Perrelet has for constructing watches even from its childhood.

The entire watch is constructed with white and red gold from 18 karats and the only bad thing about this watch is that it was made only in 50 pieces. The engineers are keeping alive Perrelet vision and continues search of new technology and new development in the watch industry. A main characteristic of the watch is that it has a skeleton compound and the creative style of the watch made it great to wear.

The glass of the watch made entirely from sapphire crystal, allows to be fully admired and also see how the watch actually works. Its complex mechanical structure is the amazing achievement of the Perrelet constructor over the years. Another outstanding property of the watch is the date indicator that actually replace the 12 hour on the dial. The mechanism was design in the place of the 12 hour because the engineers has created the supposition that the date has an enormous importance for any of us just like the time and its new position made it very easy to be read. Also if you can trace an imaginary cross, you will be able to find a different indicator at the end of any part of the cross. And that gives us the understanding that at the 3, 6 and 9 hours we can find different accessories. At the 3 o’clock the Perrelet split-second chronograph is equipped with a chronometer that can timed just like a digital watch with laps, intermediary times and final times for each lap. This is possible because the watch has a multifunctional button at the 10 hour on the outside of the case. In the place of the 6 o’clock we can find a device that can measure deeps and that also indicates us that the watch can go under water for 120 meters. This is an important feature of the watch but the constructor doesn’t offer any warranty if the watch has suffered damage will going under water, and that is because this time keeper has not been created for diving or any other water sports that you may practice.

The red gold case is market out by the black skeleton movement parts but also because of the blue screws that are made from titanium. Near the 10 o’clock we also find a dial that help the chronometer with some features. A compass is also found on this incredible watch that is included near the center of the watch and with a help of a secondary indicator circle. It also has a tremendous impact in the contrast of the watch because it is colored in hot red and because beneath that is the blue of the main frame of the watch the watch it really look like it is a skeleton with only some movement parts.

If you think this watch is the perfect one for you, you better hurry or have some money put aside for something like this because the watch was made only in 50 pieces and it can be found only in one place on Earth and that place is Geneva. The warranty for Perrelet split-second chronograph is for 10 years with full service included on every place on the planet.
