The new timepiece brought on the market by Ulysse Nardin will be exhibited during the Baselworld 2010 event and will definitely stir up the audience present there. The new Ulysse Nardin El Toro Watch maintains some of the features of design specific to Ulysse Nardin, such as the Moonstruck case that measures 43 mm in diamter. The material from the case can be chosen by the customer, who has two options, he can choose between either 18 K red gold, or platinum. The design of the case comes completed by ceramics surfaces including the bezel and the lateral pushers located on teh right side of the case. The case-back of this watch is transparent, being covered in sapphire crystal and its construction guarantees 100 m of water resistance.
The dial is all black hinting to a sporty, full of energy and dynamic design and it comes equipped with skeletonized hands pointing to the main functions of time. The dial makes use smartly of the space provided by displaying neatly the many functions offered by the new Ulysse Nardin El Toro Watch. The dial has 2 over-sized Arabic numerals for the 12 o´clock and 6 o´clock position and it displys functions of the perpetual calendar, including an indispensable date-window at 2 o´clock The dial has beautifully positioned all the functions of the perpetual calendar, the second-time zone and the traditional indications of hour, minutes and seconds.
All the previously mentioned funtions owe their inner working to the extremely complicated UN-32 calibre, exclusively developed by Ulysse Nardin and COSC certified. This movement can also provide 45 hours of power reserve and the extreme accuracy of the generated funtions.
The new Ulysse Nardin El Toro Watch will be distributed in a limited edition of just 500 pieces, all equipped with an individual number of this soon to become legendary series by Ulysse Nardin. The final touch of design is given by the choice of strap that can be either made from rubber, or from leather, both of them being fitted either with a titanium or ceramic folding claps or one made from gold, for better safety.
