        Considered the highest point of watch-making perfection the Swiss brand Zenith was founded in 1865, Le Locle by a young watchmaker Georges Favre-Jacot and through the years gathered prestige by creating high-performance luxurious timepieces which have obtained over 1500 international awards and by creating over 50 different mechanical movements.

        This brand obtained its international prestige by creating a diversified area of highly exclusivist watches, and Defy Extreme Chronograph is one of their most attractive timepiece which successfully combines sporty and vanguard style touches, and at the same time, is built to withstand the most challenging conditions, a watch specially designed for a man who guides his life after Nietzsche’s principle which has become Defy Extreme’s motto: “What does not destroy me makes me stronger”.

        Eye-catching, luxurious and sophisticated, Defy Xtreme Open displays a fascinating complexity and exudes daring masculinity.

        With a large (46.5mm) circular-shaped case, manufactured from highly resistant titanium, adorned with guilloche patterns, the timepiece is extremely durable and can resist up to an astounding 1000 m beneath the water surface, it has high-tech anti-shock technology incorporated and benefits of 50-hour power reserve.

        As another design touché which emanated masculinity we can include the large crowns and pushers equipped with protective bridge.

        The watch has see-through dial structure, an extremely intriguing unit manufactured from shock resistant Hesalite-glass which harmoniously combines with the grey carbon-fiber layer and nitro-cellulosed nickel treated dial plate.

        Animated by the Zenith’s emblematic El Primero 4021 SX, automatic both-directions winding movement, Defy Xtreme Open has is capable to provide precise short time intervals of up to a 10th of a second, aside from the hour and minutes central functions, the watch has three-branched small seconds hand located at 9 o’clock position, power-reserve indicator coming from the central axis, 30-minutes counter positioned at 3 o’clock and another central seconds hand. The rhodium plated hour hands add a contrasting design touché to this timepiece but also they are highly functional due to their red Super-LumiNova treatment which confers the watch excellent time legibility in any light conditions.

        Defy Xtreme Open from Zenith is matched with a very sophisticated bracelet which can withstand to elevated temperatures, and which features carbon-fiber inserts on the middle completing, thus this marvelous and daring timepiece available in two coloristic options, which is expected to come with a pretty expensive price tag.
